The Siren, es el cuarto sencillo del disco Once, de la banda finlandesa Nightwish. La canción es una obra mística plagada de tintes zingaros en la que Tarja Turunen y Marco Hietala unen sus voces a la perfección, fue compuesta por el teclista y líder de la formación Tuomas Holopainen.
"The Siren" was the fourth single of Finnish symphonic power metal quintet Nightwish's fifth studio album Once. The song was played with the London Session Orchestra and includes many exotic instruments, e.g. an electric violin and a sitar. In addition, Tarja Turunen used a different type of vocals than ever before on this song.
"Symphony of Destruction", a live cover included on the single, was originally performed by Megadeth on their album Countdown to Extinction.
